When we saw "Dragon Age: Origins" last week, BioWare said the project was still on track for an early 2009 release on the PC, but moments after our demo, the game was delayed until the fall, prompting us to ask BioWare some questions.

Moments after we exited a hands-on demo with "Dragon Age: Origins," a press release went across the wire announcing that BioWare's epic "Baldur's Gate"-style RPG was being delayed until the fall. In the demo, however, we were told "Dragon Age" was still on track for an early 2009 release on the PC.
After our demo, we shot BioWare a series of questions about how the extra development time will affect "Dragon Age" on the PC.
Here's what a BioWare spokesperson told us.
MTV Multiplayer: Before EA’s decision was made to release all versions of “Dragon Age” closer together, was BioWare on track to release in early 2009, as previously announced?
BioWare: The PC version of "Dragon Age: Origins" is shaping up quite well, but the recent decision was made to ensure we deliver the quality kind of launch you’d expect from our games.
MTV Multiplayer: What will BioWare do with the extra development time for the PC version?
BioWare: We plan to use the additional time to add that extra polish to the game, which is shaping up quite well already.
MTV Multiplayer: Is BioWare planning anything special for PC gamers who had expected they’d be playing “Dragon Age” in the near future?
BioWare: Our fans have been extremely patient and supportive of us, so we’re working extra hard to make sure we honor our commitment to them as we ensure "Dragon Age: Origins" is a top quality game that exceeds our fans’ expectations.
MTV Multiplayer: Given that the PC version was almost completed, is there any chance BioWare will release a PC demo in the near future?
BioWare: We haven’t announced any plans for a PC demo but we do have some exciting things lined up in the near future that will give fans a closer look at "Dragon Age: Origins," and what they can expect to see in the game. We’ll let you know more on that soon.

Does that make any part of the delay more satisfying?
