Last time they infested an American shopping mall. Today, Capcom revealed that its choppable, impalable zombies are swarming into a casino for "Dead Rising 2."

The next "Dead Rising" game isn't even out yet, but game publisher Capcom is already announcing the one after that. Just weeks before the release of the Wii "Dead Rising" remake, "Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop," the publisher has released the first details of "Dead Rising 2."
The new game is set in a casino and will by developed primarily by Blue Castle Games, a primarily sports-oriented development studio in Vancouver, Canada. Developers on the original game from Capcom's Japan studio will also be involved, including the first game's producer, Keiji Inafune.
From the official press release:
Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike.
Capcom's announcement today names the XBox 360, PS3 and PC as platforms but indicates nothing about a release date or any gameplay details. While screenshots demonstrate a lot of "Dead Rising"'s familiar grab-anything-and-use-it-to-kill-zombies gameplay, there's nothing yet to go by in terms of whether the original game's photography system is returning or, for that matter, if multiplayer, online or anything else not in the first is appearing in this sequel.
A Capcom press release promises more details "shortly."
