In New York City yesterday afternoon, 14 year-old Danny Johnson reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the "Highest Score for a Single Song" in "Guitar Hero III." Danny performed the ridiculously fast DragonForce song "Through the Fire and Flames" on Expert, hitting 99% of the notes for a score of 973,954 points.
The "Guitar Hero" guru came all the way from Grapevine, Texas to attempt to break the record and celebrate the launch of the second annual Guinness World Records 2009 Gamer's Edition. Check out the photos below. (And congrats, Danny!)
