EA has announced that two of the company's biggest upcoming PC games are now shipping later in 2009. "The Sims 3" is now slated for June 2. "Dragon Age" has slipped from early 2009 to the second half of 2009, matching the release window of the console verison.

The wait's going to be longer for "Sims" and BioWare fans.
A pair of press releases just issued by publisher EA indicates that "Sims 3" and "Dragon Age: Origins" have been hit with delays.
The "Sims 3" press release announces that the game will be shipping to PC, Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch, and mobile devices on June 2. The game had been expected for earlier in the calendar year.
The "Dragon Age" press release reports that the spiritual successor to "Baldur's Gate" will be shipping from developer BioWare and publisher EA at the same time as its console "versions" (assumedly PS3 and Xbox 360) in the second half of 2009.
