Game publisher EA ran a simulated version of the Super Bowl last week and got within 2 points of predicting the exact score for last night's big game.

Following up our post from yesterday about the impressive accuracy of EA Super Bowl predictions, the makers of "Madden" not only continued their streak last night but became even more precise.
The "Madden" prediction for Super Bowl XLII was: Pittsburgh Steelers (28), Arizona Cardinals (24)
The real score for Super Bowl XLIII was: Pittsburgh Steelers (27), Arizona Cardinals (23)
Not too bad, especially considering that the real game didn't reach that score until the final touchdown was scored with less than a minute remaining.
Next time, maybe EA can use "Madden" to predict lotto winners.
