As readers should know by now, today is the last day of our ace reporter Patrick Klepek's current stint at MTV Multiplayer. I say "current," because I dream of bringing him back into the fold one day. For now, I hope people memorize that Klepek name and follow the byline of one of the best reporters in the field, wherever it winds up. Patrick made MTV Multiplayer much better than it could have ever been without him. He's at the top of his game and will be sorely missed.

I've avoided the "Peggle" phenomenon -- that is, until PopCap Games released "Peggle Nights" for Macs this week, providing no good reason to avoid the pachinko-meets-acid trip of a game, but it's done a serious number on productivity. Read more...

This is my last Lunchtime Video, readers. A late night showing of "Coraline" in 3D means I wasn't able to film this goodbye from anywhere special, but the movie did get me wondering: why aren't more games doing 3D gimmicks?
