It's a historic day for America, but apparently everyone was too busy watching Barack Obama take office instead of creating video game content about it; the single "Little Big Planet" level we found celebrating the inauguration wasn't much to talk about.

America's new President, Barack Obama, is all over "Little Big Planet." There are many levels dedicated to him, but no on except user davesanu was concerned about creating anything to celebrate his inauguration today.
"Repetitive," "short," "tricky," beautiful," race," "vehicles" -- these are all words used to describe davesanu's "inauguration obama" stage in "Little Big Planet." No one has hearted it, only 14 people have played it and it holds a two-star rating.

I booted up "inauguration obama" today and even I was found myself giving it a single star. Though there's an image of the new President at the start, no other references to Obama or his Presidency follow, unless the vehicles are a nod to the parade that came after his swearing in ceremony this morning.
There's no doubt Obama will continue to be a figure of inspiration for "Little Big Planet" level designers going forward, but right now, maybe they're too busy watching him take office.
