Since it's the start of a new year, there aren't many new games to ignore right now. But we've still got plenty of titles from 2008 that we're giving the cold shoulder. Take a look at this week's picks, old and new, and let us know which ones you're not playing.

Stephen's Not Playing... "Far Cry 2" (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
Why he's not playing a potential 2008 Game Of The Year: The gaming commandment of 2008 is as follows -- "Thou shall not play any two of the F-games at the same time." I got "Fable II" out of my system a while ago. I loved it. I had played some "Far Cry 2" and "Fallout 3" and put them both aside. On New Year's day I decided to pick both of them back up. But that's another f-word: foolishness. I can only play one at a time. So "Fallout" it is. "Far Cry" needs to wait.
Patrick's Not Playing... "Driver's Ed Portable" (DS)
The reason he doesn't want a game to teach him how to drive: This game should've come out last month, when I actually spent time in line at the California DMV in order to obtain a California drivers license. The California written test was way harder than the Illinois one! Maybe "Driver's Ed Portable" could have helped me remember when a U-turn is and isn't possible. I passed, though. Barely.
What Tracey's Not Playing... "Wii Fit"
Why she's not keeping track of her BMI anymore: Thinking about new year's resolutions, I naturally thought about weight loss and all the alleged pounds I was going to shed using "Wii Fit" when it came out in May. I stuck with it for a while, using it several times a week along with jogging and eating properly. I even lost a few pounds. However, I think it was soon after E3 where I became too busy/lazy to use "Wii Fit." For a belated Christmas present, last week I gave my parents a Wii and my copy of "Wii Fit," and so far they've been using it on a daily basis. But I have to wonder how long they'll keep this up. For those who bought "Wii Fit" last year, do you still use it periodically or is your Balance Board collecting dust like mine?
