a) Play a rapper who plays "Gears of War 2" on his tour bus every day.
b) Edit a blog called Multiplayer but mostly play single-player games.
c) Try your best but let down the many, many people who send you Xbox Live messages and Twitter notes about how "everyone around the world is rooting" for you and how you need to "serve that destroyer of hip-hop a healthy dosage of pwnage!"
d) Come really, really close to winning.

What can I say? On a day he was supposed to be promoting his new album, iSouljaboytellem, Soulja Boy ground his hype machine to a halt, stopped by our office with his entourage, plugged his Xbox 360 hard drive into one of my two 360s and spent more than an hour just playing and talking games with me.
The set-up was simple. I had picked one game: "Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2." He picked one game: "Gears of War 2." And we'd have a surprise game neither of us had played as the tiebreaker, based on feedback we'd gotten from the challenge online (people had recommended a fighting game).
