How, after all, does a year ending in "Wii Music," "Fallout 3," and "Gears of War 2" compete for gaming greatness with years that concluded with "BioShock," "Super Mario Galaxy," "Portal" or "Grand Theft Auto III," "Metal Gear Solid 2" and "Ico"?
It wasn't easy to argue that 2008 was better than 2007 or 2001...
