We had just played through a 12 month period that was more well-balanced with good games than any January to December stretch that had come before.

It's because I've been playing Super Metroid and Diablo as of late. I'm too used to back tracking. :P

Wow. Well that was well planned. Although I can't say I enjoy having to read through the "Filed Under" menu. But it does make things more interesting, especially since you have to wait for the beginning. Strangest part: if you add any more to this article series, people will still comment on this article once they figure it all out, even though this one will have been dead for a long time by then.
