Hey gamers, have you noticed anything familiar about the new “Watchmen” movie trailer?

I went through most of my life not hearing Philip Glass’ song “Pruit Igoe” — or even knowing what it was — until Rockstar Games licensed it for the first Glass-inspired “GTA IV” trailer. And now I’m hearing it again, 19 months later, in a movie trailer that’s aimed at much the same crowd as “GTA.” Funny how I never heard it in trailers before Rockstar used it.

Thank you, video games, for expanding my horizons and teaching me about such refined music.
