I got the collector's edition of "Fable II" from Microsoft today. The game ships for the Xbox 360 next week. Will the game break new ground? Who knows. Will the boxart? Well, you tell me when you last saw horizontally-aligned gaming box art. Above is the front of the box. Below is the back.
This boxart will be kept from consumers' view as far as I can tell. The box you see above is hidden under a cardboard sleeve, which you can see after the jump sporting a much more conventional design:
