Fans of legendary rock guitarist Slash are able to play against him and as him in “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.” But now they’ll really be able to own him — in toy form, that is.
Today, McFarlane Toys announced exclusively to MTV Multiplayer that the company is making a Slash action figure based on his in-game character from “Guitar Hero III.” At six inches in height, the nimble figure has more than 15 moving parts, a removable guitar and a sculpted base — for flexible shredding, of course.
He’ll join the other previously announced “Guitar Hero” action figures that include characters Johnny Napalm, Lars Ümlaut, God of Rock and Axel Steel, all due in November. The figures’ prices should range between $10 and $15 at various retailers. Expect Slash in stores in February 2009.
