If you've been complaining about the controls in "Super Monkey Ball" on the iPhone, you might want to download the patch from late last night.
Sega has taken some criticisms to heart and made the game much easier to control. The "dead zone" -- the space you need to hold the iPhone where no movement occurs -- has been made significantly easier to find.
The "dead zone" appears to rest at about a 45-degree angle with the patch.
However, there are scattered reports that the patch will destroy saved games. As I'd deleted the game to conserve space, I can't personally confirm if this is true.
But if you were avoiding "Super Monkey Ball" because of its control issues, maybe it's time to boot it up and give it another try.
