(The following Wii-related events all occurred to the author of this post since August 14)
*A woman walks up to me in Times Square while I'm carrying a "Wii Fit" box. Her son, who is about 12 years old is with her. "Where did you get that?" she says pointing to my game box. I hadn't even taken my iPod's headphones off yet, but she wasn't waiting. She was desperate: "We can't find it anywhere."
*The MTV mailroom guy who usually talks to me about Xbox 360 games tells me that he and his son love playing a new game they just got for the Wii: "Carnival Games."
*An MTV News producer tells me she and her boyfriend love playing a Wii game. It's called Wii Carnival, she thinks. I correct her. But the point has been made.
The Wii... it's popular, anecdotally speaking!
