Last week, we covered E3 from Los Angeles. Check out all the E3 news we reported this week as well as the ongoing reports and photos from Patrick Klepek at San Diego Comic-Con:
* At E3, Multiplayer blog editor Stephen Totilo got his eyes on the new "Watchmen" video game.
* Did Microsoft rip off Miis? Sony, how do you feel about losing "Final Fantasy XIII" exclusivity? What about the hardcore gamers, Nintendo? See these tough questions answered in this MTV News video report.
* Other video reports: Sony explains how PSN can trump Xbox Live. Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime talks "GTA" on DS and the PS3's installed base. And Microsoft revealed Bungie's next "Halo" game.
* Straight from Reggie: Some third-party developers may have known about the Wii MotionPlus controller "a little earlier." He also said that the Wii storage limitations are becoming a mainstream problem. Meanwhile, Microsoft exec Don Mattrick said the Xbox 360 arcade is still available because consumers like choice.
* "Resident Evil 5" producer Jun Takeuchi talked about the controls and whether black people worked on the game.
* Totilo pondered Nintendo's communication with its fans at E3. Misunderstandings, indeed...
* We asked execs and the iPhone apparently doesn't scare Nintendo and Sony one bit.
* During E3, I got a look at action-RPG "Alpha Protocol" and learned how it's similar and different than "Mass Effect" and how there will be plenty of sex scenes in it.
* Sony Online Entertainment assured me that "DC Universe Online" is an MMO for the console crowd, too.
* Totilo had a second hands-on with "Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts" and Klepek got to try the "Rock Revolution" drums again. See if the second time's a charm...
* "Castlevania"'s Koji Igarashi revealed that he's actively looking at WiiWare and said he thinks that the fan criticism against his new game is unjustified.
* Guest appearances galore: Totilo and Klepek appear on the 1up podcast to talk E3. Later, Totilo shares his thoughts about E3 and video game violence on the Gearheads of War podcast and debates E3 with IGN on G4.
* Is e3 headed for extinction? That's what analyst Michael Pachter says.
* Microsoft revealed their business model for Community Games and how there will be no Achievements or adult content.
* Comic-con cos-play: Klepek saw folks dressed up as Ghostbusters and even TIE fighters. He also found out about the new episodic "Dexter" game for iPhones and that there will be no console-specific characters for "Street Fighter IV."
* Square Enix revealed new action figures for "Star Ocean," "Lst Remnant" and "Final Fantasy XIII."
* I try my had at cooking the real recipes from "Gourmet Chef" with mixed results.
* See the first two minutes of "Unreal Tournament III," "Space Chimps," "Wonder World Amusement Park," "Out of This World."
