Comic Con: No Console-Specific 'Street Fighter IV' Characters

Namco Bandai stirred controversy when they placed Vader and Yoda in in separate versions of "Soul Calibur IV."

Vader showed up on PlayStation 3, Yoda on Xbox 360.

An excited "Street Fighter" fan at Comic Con 2008 asked "Street Fighter IV" producer Yoshinori Ono whether the in-development console versions of "Street Fighter IV" would follow the same path.

The short answer? No. "We don't want to go in that direction," said Ono.

There will be additional characters produced for the home version, but rest assured, it won't matter which version you end up buying.
