Over the weekend a massive amount of gaming information leaked from website Intellisponse, apparently revealing key details about upcoming Xbox projects and Activision games. We contacted Intellisponse, but reps declined to comment on the leak yesterday.
However, we have heard from Sega regarding one part of the leak: an alleged video reveal of a game called "The Crucible: The Evil Within," rumored to be the previously unnamed Silicon Knights game for Sega.
MTV Multiplayer got in touch with Sega rep Steve Groll via e-mail, and he told us:
"That video is not the game that Silicon Knights is creating for us. I have no idea if it is a game they are working on for someone else, but it's definitely not the project that Silicon Knights and SEGA are producing. I can't reveal any info about the game we currently have in development, but I can tell you that it is not titled 'The Crucible.' More news about our game coming soon."
Reached for comment yesterday, a representative from Silicon Knights responded that the development studio could not comment on rumors.
