Uwe Boll’s ‘Postal’ Theater Count: Day Two

PostalAnd then there were…11.

Yes, it appears the number of theaters agreeing to carry Uwe Boll’s “Postal,” an adaptation of the violent Running With Scissors game series, has gone down.

A Vancouver theater appears to have dropped out. MTV Multiplayer intends to keep an updated list of available theaters as we near the film’s Friday release date.

“Whatever press will help POSTAL,” Boll told me over e-mail. “I think you have to admit that that it is banned. It’s not okay.”

If all else fails, however, there is hope. “Postal” already has a release date on Blu-ray. That’s right: Uwe Boll in high-definition. Horror site Bloody Disgusting reports that Amazon is currently taking pre-orders for a Blu-ray “Postal” to arrive on August 26.
