OK, what i really dont get is why fanboys jump at the chance to talk $#~% about everything and anything. If you like the 360, fine, go play with it, but dont jump to the offensive every time someone says the word Wii. Same for Wii fanboys, and PS3 fanboys. If ya’ll love your system, fine go play with it and enjoy it in all its glory. Every console has its pro’s and its con’s and everyone knows about them and has heard about them time and time again so why say something that has already been said by thousands of other people.

And to Jeff, you seriously need to catch up with the times boy. And im surprised that you think you know what a woman is because of how youre talkin here, you probably haven’t been near one. And melissa is right about one thing, Nintendo has won a battle and that is the battle to deliver a console that many thought would fail and has become one of the greatest selling consoles for Nintendo.

  2. BADBOY says:

I have to say I’m not much of a gamer. Actually I came on here to decide which console to get for me and my dad to get some quality time with. Therefore, I apologize in advance for being stooooopid.

    However…

I DO know a bit about business AND innovation. Tuppenyworth?

You may not like some progress or even the duplication thereof but it’s always good to have many players in ANY marketplace. Which this is simply because it’s popular = Money to be made.

One player = linear progress = SLOW = Monopoly = much regulation = barriers to entry = DEATH OF INDUSTRY

Many players = geometric progress = FAST = regulation can’t keep up = EVER GROWING EXCITEMENT

Progress is like a jigsaw puzzle. ie, it doesn’t just move forward but in many different directions, therefore catering to many different tastes. So, you may hate motion controllers OR the copying of it BUT it will probably spawn many new ideas that you WILL like.

If there is one thing for certain, it’s that there are countless gaming machines and controllers that haven’t been invented yet but will be because of Microsoft AND sony AND nintendo et al. AND some of them you might actually enjoy playing even though you hated their predecessor (which of course will probably be the one you DIDN’T like! - but of course you’ll never know that!) - COMPRENDES?

Therefore, embrace them all and look forward instead of rubbishing what’s available just now. It’s easy to hate with hindsight but for God’s sake don’t be shortsighted!

Personally, I can’t wait for the controller which doesn’t knacker you out after 10 cans of Guinness…OR interrupts the joint passing.

Which incidentally is why I believe the motion controller is doomed to be forever aimed at kids.

Behave like an individual and buy what you like - don’t buy what you don’t but if you live to rubbish other people for their tastes then you’re an idiot and not much greater in intellect than an animal.

And if you don’t like the state of the art then get up off your lazy backside and design your own!

It’s not the destination but the journey that’s important.

  3. Sheik says:

Melissa, I’m with you on this. The numbers speak for themselves. Wii is sold out worldwide, and it came out about a YEAR AND A HALF ago. I don’t recall any videogame system ever accomplishing this level of demand. All of these XBOX fans are upset because Microsoft is still not #1 in the industry, and the PS3 fans are upset because Sony’s no longer on top. Instead, they’re on the bottom. All of the systems have good exclusives, but Nintendo can never be accused for not making good games. Most multi-platform websites & magazines gave Super Mario Galaxy “Game of the Year” last year, and the year before, most “Game of the Year” votes were owned by Zelda: Twilight Princess. And Nintendo’s franchises aren’t going anywhere. Most good XBOX & PS3 games are made by 3rd parties who may bring their games to another system hardware developer in the future. As far as the controller is concerned, none of these modern controllers would be what they are today without Nintendo’s innovations. They invented, and/or brought to mainstream with quality, the crosspad, the analogue thumbstick, pressure sensitive shoulder buttons, wireless controllers, force feedback and, of course, the industry changing Wii Remote. Both Bill Gates and Sony’s head honcho knocked motion controllers and the Wii remote when the Wii remote was announced, and now they’re playing catch-up because they were dead wrong. These Microsoft and Sony fanboys should remember what innovations in gameplay & controllers from Nintendo are allowing them to play the games that they’re playing today. They should look at the sales figures and realize that the world agrees with Nintendo, then cross their fingers that Microsoft and Sony keep copying Nintendo, because without doing that, you would still be playing on Atari-style joysticks. Fanboys, type all you want. I don’t plan on revisiting this site to read your ranting comebacks.

  4. ParticleParticle says:

@lacklustah: More speed sure(because the wiimote is all over the place) but can it provide the accuracy of something like the 360 controller or even a mouse. I don’t think so.

Oh and how am I glorifying him exactly? Maybe if you took the time to look, you would of seen this:

    http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3161391

It’s an internet meme. Jeff Bell goes and does stupid stuff on the internet, which is what I was pointing up. Arguing with him is pointless because its a joke post.

  5. Derekkkk says:

Shiek, my poor misguided friend, you must be a casual gamer.

First and foremost, ever since Xbox there has never and I repeat never been a better console. First, you base your information on Wii sales, do you know exactly why every console was sold out? This is because of a lack of them. There were barely any consoles being made, Nintendo failed their customers in mass producing all of them in time for Christmas. Now you base the terrible games Nintendo offers off of gaming website and magazine reviews? Those sites and magazines have no idea what makes a good and competitive game, they rate everything over the top, just so people like you go out and buy said item. It’s ridiculous how corrupted your view is. The Xbox is the only system that has any good games, other than Super Smash Bros Brawl. With games such as Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 nothing can compare. The only valid statement you mentioned is that Playstation is behind. Playstation is now the worst console out there, that is what I’ll agree upon whole-heartedly.

Don’t try to tell me how great Mario is either, I’m a hardcore gamer, I know what makes a good game, the sad part is some of the best games such as Shadowrun for Xbox aren’t publicized enough and get the shaft from having a community the size of a small town.

  6. lacklustah says:

the wii pointing mechanism has a pretty decent dpi range which has a direct correlation with accuracy and speed. while it’s certainly not up there with a mouse (which is inarguably the most accurate), i think it’s very competitive with what a dual analog controller can do and it’s only going to improve.

compare a launch title like red steel with where metroid was last august. it’s a more mouse-like experience. with the sensitivity cranked up and a steady hand you never feel like you can’t skim the whole room you’re in in a split-second.

and interesting about jeff bell, i didn’t read past his employment announcement from microsoft.

  7. Rhonlore says:

Hardcore gamers? I’m sorry, but I think people are missing out on some of the glorious days of the past.

Mario Bros. This game is still SOLID even 20 years after it’s release. People are so hung up on graphics nowadays, that solid game play and intuitive controls are taking the back seat. I don’t need 20 buttons on a controller when each one has a specific purpose. That’s just sadistic.

Jump to the present-ish. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I know I usually knock FPS games on consoles, but holy crap. If there was ever a game to be nominated for best FPS controls, it’s this one. The motion sensing/pointing tech simply makes it an unparalleled experience for any game to even consider matching imo.

I personally own about 40 DS games and each one I have played to or near completion. I recommend everyone gets a DS and learns just what it means to have gameplay over graphics. 3D is not the future. It’s been done. Solid controls and gameplay is whats important. Believe me.

  8. NightDragon says:

Ahhhh…. i love all the bashers and naysayers with their ever-so-popular slogans like “Wii is just a fad!!!” or “Wii isn’t for hardcore gamers,” and “360 is the #1 console for real gamers!” I have both a Wii and a 360 and i play both equally as much… Smash on Wii FTW, and Call of Duty 4 is all i’ll ever need on 360 (#1 game on Xbox Live… #~*~ Halo 3!). Nintendo continued what Atari started and has been around long after their demise and will continue to be around for years and years to come whether you Sony and Microsoft fanboys like it or not… let’s take a look at the status of the other companies Nintendo has gone up against shall we?

Atari these days is in name only and a shell of the former company it once was, Sega has been reduced to a software only company and continues to milk Sonic for all he’s worth with shitty games… Sony took the game industry by storm with PS1 and PS2 but has now been reduced to third place worldwide in current gen console sales thanks to it’s over-priced and over-hyped Blu-Ray player, aka the PS3, and Microsoft can’t make a reliable console to save their lives… people have had more cases of RROD then the plague ever did. Check out vgchartz.com if you think what i said is all a bunch of bull…. Wii is the top selling current gen console by a longshot and 360 is losing steam to the PS3 in Europe and Japan, so chew on that 360 fanboys! Oh, and as for the controller… yeah, thats pure innovation right there let me tell ya… just like wireless controllers, force-feedback, analog sticks, shoulder buttons, 4 face buttons, and a D-pad… those were all done before Nintendo decided to copy them and put them on their systems right? RIGHT???? Thought so… that’s all folks!

  9. NightDragon says:

Hey Derekkkk…. explain this one to me…

If Nintendo purposely limited Wii’s production to make it sell out and increase demand when there really aren’t that many being sold according to you… then how can Wii’s current total of 23.4 MILLION consoles sold worldwide in a year and a half on the market even be possible? The answer is, it isn’t… that’s because even though Nintendo is making as many systems as fast as they can, well over a million per month, they STILL can’t keep up with demand… Sony and Microsoft wish they could have that kind of problem instead of underwhelming sales and mass hardware failures respectively.

  10. Jaffee says:

Count me as leery. From the article, it sounds like Microsoft is trying to photocopy everything about the Wii without really adding their own touch to it. First of all, I’m sure they’re going to have some major legal issues with that before this thing even launches, and secondly, it misses the broad overall point as to why the Wii is succeeding, which involves a more fundamental (but not complete) shift in vision in how the games are made. I mean, look at Sony shoehorning motion into the PS3…that hasn’t gone well.

I can’t see it going well for Microsoft either. Right now, their big market is the FPS genre, and it’s not like that hasn’t been tried on the Wii. I don’t think a Red Steel with better graphics will sell any better on the 360. And even if it is as polished as Halo or Metroid, I don’t get the sense that 360 gamers will really feel the need to abandon the dual analog setup.

So yeah, unless Microsoft can pull a Wii Sports out of their hat, I can’t see this sort of thing working out well for them at all. And I’m sure they’re not dumb, and will realize this.

  11. shadaik says:

Wonderful. More fanboyism, immaturity and utter stupidity than even on MTV or america. Oh, wait…

Seriously, you guys are embarassing yourselves here.

BTW: This probably IS a Paint sketch. Nowhere in this text does it say that this pic is by MS. And yeah, I too think this a joke. On the other hand, MS already did Scene It!, which is the most shameless rip-off of Buzz! you could think of.

  12. Karl says:

haha “yes i’ll belive a picture someone made in paint” its bs, old rumors.

  13. DJ2002 says:

ok, I was expecting to get Rick Roll’d…

    so mad…

Anonymous ftw I guess, since most of those self proclaimed “gamers” don’t know *#$* outside of their little fanclub.

  14. oh noes says:

I lol’z at anyone who calls Halo 3 boring.

If you’re gonna say it’s a “been there, done that game.” then you might as well give in to say that every FPS after Duke Nukem is the same thing.

I’m willing to accept that some think it’s boring, noobs are probably used to the ADD Speedfest that’s called Unreal Tournament.

  15. Gel214th says:

This cannot work like the Wii Controllers. Without a second controller in your left hand you will not be able to play First Person Shooters with this. The Nintendo Wii with the nunchuck and Remote working in tandem is almost as good as a mouse and keyboard (ok maybe as good) for FPS shooters, and third person shooters (GTA would probably rock with that controller setup).

Without these features it will become a Niche controller for a few games, like the Guitar for Rock Band for example.

Basically, this won’t enable Microsoft to regain the market share lost to the innovative and easy to use controls of the Wii.

If they created a control setup EXACTLY like the Wii, with left and right hand controls, and they made it integrated into the Xbox 360 System to allow for User customisation and creation of Profiles for games so that a user could set the controls for past games such as Halo 3 etc, THEN this may have a chance.

But, given Microsoft’s history, I don’t hold much hope that they are going to get this right or maximise its full potential.meh.

  16. Nintendohomeboy says:

F*ck you microsoft! Think of some ideas yourself. Yeh im coming from the pov of a ninty fanboy but really. Nintendo should sue when this comes out, it’s their innovation and a brilliant one at that. The idea of the Wii was, yes to bring a new aspect to gaming but to expand the industry was their main objective. Im not saying 360’s aren’t good (i’ve got one) and they’re the best console for hardcore gamers. But the Wii never intended to be a console for hardcore gamers. Each console excells at different things. Wii = innovation and fun / 360 = Content and Online gaming / PS3 Media and hardware. The console war is still in full swing, and i think PS3 will win eventually.

  17. Rob Delve says:

I certainly don’t think that the awful graphic supposedly demonstrating a prototype controller for the Xbox 360 is anything that would be produced by Microsoft. I wonder how long it took someone to make that on ms paint? My guess is 5 minutes.

  18. The 360 council says:

    GOD NO!!

  19. Michael Klahs says:

Hm ok its Old and the desingn is a Remote too^^ but Motioncontrolers are the future. as later as possible ms brings out a motion controler because why not now?The Controlersheme is better as the wiimote because it has a analog (ok nunchucks are great too!) and a micro is integrated so they are much functionally in homebrew things. A nice Cable Phone for linux or something.. more hardware more fun! So we can use it in Homebrew apps in the Future

I have a wii too. Nintendo has brought out the first good working Motioncontroler for consoles but they dont have Invented it.

  20. Julien says:

    Xbox 360 is dead.

Microsoft has won the heart of american core player and…. that’s all.
They are dead in the very attractive european market. They are dead in the Sony’s dojo (Japan). They are dead in the family market (Nintendo is beating their ass and Sony has won the multi-deviced-audio-video-videogames-internet-connected platform war since HD-DVD is dead)

Their target is too small regarding money needed to create games core player really enjoyed.

Just one last thing core gamer. Please learn one thing. A good console is a sold console ! A good game is a sold game !
    That’s all folks

  21. PortMnOWr says:

First things first, Wii is the only true next gen console.

Two, 360 is the most advanced online gaming system.

Three, Wii is not for kids and if you think so, wake up.

I own both systems and more often then not, can’t decide which to play. The fact that MS is thinking about this… meh, I’ll stick to my Wii for that right now. Althought it doesn’t have the graphics, 80% of 360/PS3 games are far too hyped up and don’t deliver!

  22. Sye says:

    You are all hilarious.

Cheers for giving me something entertaining at work to read.

  23. binks2001 says:

Based on the fact that there are currently mod kits out there that give the current controller similar functionality, I am glad they are finally making it part of the official product/accessory.

  24. Showie says:

Proves to me that MS is a pure 2nd rate copycat. Is there anything innovative that this company will ever do?

  25. PuckPuck says:

I’m a gamer… I have owned systems from the original NES through PS2. After PS2, however, I really started to dislike games. I’m 30 years old, and all I want is a game that is ENJOYABLE to play. A game that requires me to play 10 hours just to understand it, remember dozens of button combinations, and throws you into a spiral of never ending video animations, isn’t fun. Gameplay is what makes a game fun, not complexity. Being able to pick up a game, and master it in a few tries is what makes it fun.

Nintendo got it very right, and the sales don’t lie. Sure hardcore gamers don’t like it, but eventually even the 24 year old hardcore gamer will grow up and have a family (like me), and not have 8 hours a day to spare playing and learning new video games. Not to mention the shear expense to be able to support the habit.

Those mini-games are awesome hits. We often throw parties, where my other 30+ friends come over, after a few social drinks, turn on the Wii, give out 4 controllers, and we have people fighting over playing the “stupid mini-games”. Wii was never intended to be a hard core gaming machine. That’s obvious by the lack of hardware, and very cheap price. Nintendo wanted to make a system that could be enjoyed by the family, and used as a beacon at a party for grown adults after a few drinks.

PS: I also have a full blown arcade which emulates hundreds of arcade games (search MAME), a PS2, a PC, and a Wii. During a party, only the Wii gets usage… go figure.

  26. Betty says:

That’s Microsoft, not much for innovation, but real good when it comes to emulation

  27. Ronz says:

LOL @ people who call Microsoft a copy-cat.

So Wii mote is it, the only controller allowed to use the motion sensing in video games? To look like a remote control?

Well then shoot, I guess we should condem Apple iPod for copying the ideas of putting mp3s on a portable hard drive from the innovators in Korea, and the company “Rio” (who was ruined by Apple might I add, even though they BROUGHT MP3 PLAYERS TO LIFE)! Get real guys.

Apple just made it better, improved an already made concept with new features and better design. MS has the right to do so as Apple did when the iPod was made.

Wii owners are just getting their underwear all twisted up because if this rumor were true, the one redeeming quality for Wii has just went right out the window.

Well that’s of course if MS doesn’t d!ck it up, haha (which they very well could).

(Note: I own a Wii along side my 360, so I don’t care either way what happens. But it’d just give me more options, so why complain? lol)

  28. Lol says:

Well I have both the Wii and the 360. But they are both obsolete now because, guess what, I have World of Warcraft! Bwuahahahahahahahahahahahah!

  29. EvilCowKing says:

Wow… is there ever some hostility, sexism and immaturity on these boards! It certainly seems that there are numerous “hardcore” gamers here that have their heads so far up their ass, they think that everybody needs to enjoy the same type of games to be at their level. I’m looking at all you jerks who are bad mouthing Melissa >_>

Plain and simple, 360 had a 1 year headstart on the PS3 and the Wii. Yet, it is the LEAST “next gen” console on the market. It is only a more powerful Xbox and that’s it. Wii stands at the other end - it really brought something new to the table. Financially, it has paid off for Nintendo. And as gamers, we benefit from it too because let’s face it, the market is becoming stagnant with countless sequels *cough*EA*ahem* and many of us are simply getting tired of that.

What’s happening now, is, if this prototype is indeed real, is a trend that has been going on in the industry for a long time. Let’s see:

Nintendo introduces analog stick - Sony redesigns their controller with dual sticks
Nintendo introduces force feedback - Sony redesigns their controller to give force feedback
Nintendo introduces motion sensing controller - Sony redesigns their “boomerang” controller which was ill received

And that’s just a short list. MS, now realizing that they have the least to offer their consumers, is merely trying to catch up now.

So, for all of you idiotic jerks who think that a “hardcore” gamer is someone who plays Halo 3 on their 360 all day long, get a clue. Stop being sexist jerks and realize that you’re not the only ones who play games, particularly any ones that are categorically better than others’. I’ve been playing games for +20 years on numerous Nintendo and Sony consoles (-I’m not a Nintendo fanboy), and your ignorance disgusts me. Oh, and do keep in mind that as a 24 year old male, I do come from that “core demographic,” or “real gamer” as so many of you idiotically put it.

  30. WoIllusion says:

Seriously, who goes to eMpTyV.com for video game news?

  31. gamer xtrodinar says:

Awesome … its about time the M$ copies someone elses ideas bcuz the hardware alone isn’t winning the battle. We all know that the average gamer prefers the Wii, just look at the sales figures. So if M$ copies what works for that system and puts it on the XBox we will shirley have a wiener!

Of course it will take until the 3rd generation before it works but don’t worry the gaming sheeple will buy it. Just toss on a really expensive price tag and say that you gotta have this new remote to play Halo or Doom and BING … money rolling in!

Yes, this is all tongue-in-check. Get a reality check gamers. You will have your hardcore gamers who want an XBOX or PS3 and the rest of the world who want to play a game now and again will still grab the Wii. This is not an either or (VHS or Betamax) conflict, where one system is doomed to fail. Both niche markets can co-exist and flourish. Of course the hardcore gaming systems will always cost more (latest technology = more expensive) and there are fewer of them (less demand = higher price; no economies of scale)

  32. Wrigleygamingfun says:

Thank you, Josh6179, for setting a new tone to this.
Perhaps before comments are made that are completely incorrect regarding market share, target market, innovation, ect. posters should visit a couple of different web sites. I’d highly recommend the patent and copywrite web site of the U.S. government. You’ll find that many companies, including Microsoft, owned patents of various products/product features well before they were put into the market by other companies who we perceive as “the innovators.” In actuality, they are not innovators, simply the first to place their products in the market. In addition, wikipedia will direct you to credible sources (at least most of the time) which provide details of the market share of each of the Consoles. Not that this determines a “winner,” since there are so many different price points-however it does provide a more accurate picture.

I agree that all of the consoles serve a purpose for different demographics. Although, I know many who have two of the three consoles, and some who only own the Wii as they didn’t have the financial means to purchase the console and games for PS3 or the 360. As far as the remote is concerned-we’ll see. My prediction would be that folks who own the 360 and Wii will convert to using the 360; and the Wii will begin to collect dust, unfortunately, as I have enjoyed Nintendo gaming systems for many years.

It’ll be exciting to see what the next generation of gaming will look like. I’ve heard some rumors and been to a couple of different gaming conferences–what’s next looks pretty awesome!

  33. kevin says:

it will sell, thats why microsoft is doing it, doesnt matter how old it is, theres over 30 different gps devices they all copy off each other, but they sell, so why hate on someone for trying to make money

  34. chikit says:

wait a minute either this is fake or they will get this to work…
how do they think of getting this controller to work on games that already have been released… i mean will i be able to play saints row that i have already bought with this or will they release a new version of all of the games? but still it would be really great to play for ex. gta IV with this. and besides people would rather buy this than a wii with much better graphics and maybe even better controls than the wii. i think this is a great idea

  35. Mikylrou says:

You people are idiots to actually think that this drawing is the next thing for the 360. You would think if someone was going to fake the new Microsoft remote they would do a better job. Microsoft is a big enough company that they there own people who design remotes and accessories would make it look totally different from the wii remote and wouldn’t rip it off. Who ever made that drawing is stupid for telling every one it is the new motion sensor controller for the 360.

  36. fig8131 says:

I have a wii. I had a 360. Sold it got a ps3. The ps3 has a more powerful system can put more on a disk then a 360. I am a hard core gamer and think FPS are all a wast of f**king time. They feel so been there done that nothing new but a polised terd. And when it comes to rateing the AAA games for the 360 all you hear is halo bioshock is this becaouse that is all they have. if so not worth the investment. That is what I found out the hard way atleast I got some trade-in value out of it to go toward the ps3. PS# and Wii all you need.

  37. i hart naggers says:

    WOOOOOOH NAGGERZ!!!!!

  38. Sir-G says:

    @ParticleParticle ,

I think you might have misunderstood me. I know Microsoft has the money, but the devs don’t! They are the ones who have to pay to get the controls to work right with their games. And thats on top of their already insane budgets.

  39. fhfh says:

Nintendo haters should just quit it. How can anyone seriously say that Forza 2 is more fun than Mario Kart? The 360s great power is truly showcased by all of racers on show in it’s arsenal. 2 platers maximum… I’m so impressed. Where do people get their 4 player racing fix? Only on Wii… despite 4 player split screen racing games being around for over 10 years it seems that Sony and Microsoft decide to make you need to buy 2 seperate consoles and TVs to achieve such a set up. If that’s what HD quality visuals requires then they can keep their damn graphics and concentrate on actually giving us fun games. Yes the Wii has a lot of bad games, but it has also has 5 games in it’s library that are superior to every game on the 360 and PS3. I’m pretty sure that has a little bit to do with the success of the wii as well. Motion controls for the 360 doesn’t change the fact that it has no important exclusive games at all on the horizon. If 360 isn’t the worst selling console come 2009 I will be highly shocked. It proves how brilliantly they are doing when they have to drop the price of the console to a price as low as the Wii is, which costs a fraction of the cost to develop of the 360. Go team!

  40. Mike Lowe says:

If this is what the new ”wii60” controller will look like then it is blatent theft. The design is the same but with a few more complex elements such as the microphone but after nintendo making something so unique microsoft is about to steal it from them. Blu ray won their sucky hd dvd and now they are trying to appeal to gamers by bringing out a “new” controller. PS3 and wii rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Xbox 360 SUCKS NADS ()()

    .

  41. AkiraX says:

yeah, wii did it first, MS has a chance to do it better…
if it comes out I’ll buy..

Great Hi-def gaming with motion controller….bring it..

  42. Läskipaska says:

FU, all, nobody has won nothing, this is a f—ing fake. And wii is *@#$ so is ps3 and x360. I own pc x360 and ps2, i consider 1.pc 2.xbox360 3. ps2. PC pwns all that *@#$, remember u get fre games for it, legal and not legal ways.

  43. Akirax says:

People say asians copy concepts and make it better…our turn….

    We got Next!!

  44. Brett says:

It looks like a cell phone with the microphone and speaker

  45. Alyxes says:

First of all, I agree that every console has their benefits and bad things. I’m not a brainless nintendofanboy, but I AM a nintendofan, a big one. I DO think that the greatest games are made by Nintendo, and I KNOW that there’s a lot of other great games on other consoles, but I barely have time to play all the good stuff on Wii…

About superhyped games that doesn’t deliver (I haven’t played those, I have a Wii, so all hyped games I’ve played are as good as they should be. heh, kiddin’), hey, try playing them for what they are, not for what they’re not.
Excite Truck is pretty thin, no online, only limited twoplayer, music and sound is bad (luckily you can play your own music from SD). It doesn’t feel fullblooded… But it’s a great game! I take it for what it is, superfun, superfast, crazy terraindriving. And the terrain can change, which make it unique.
Redsteel was kinda hyped, but wasn’t good enough when it came. Good enough? It was a good game! I don’t have it, but I’ve played a decent bit, and I think it has some charm, sure the controls are somewhat flimsy and OWNED by Metroid Prime 3, but it’s pretty fun for what it is. Some music was great.
I think a sequel with improved controls and tuned graphics would be interresting.

About that xboxmote, it does seem to be fake, yeah.
But it doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea. I don’t think it will look anything like that, but eventually something motionsensing will come out for xbox too.
And it’s a good thing. Nintendo’s true strength lies in changing the gaming market for the better. Since their innovation actually sells, the next generation will come with even weirder controls.
I’m waiting for the thought controlled console.
It could be here in 2 consolegenerations. Rumours I’ve read says Nintendo’s already testing that. It’s way too inexact today to actually use, but soon…
So, it’s good. MS and Sony giving in, saying: okay, they did the right thing, so we’ll do that too.
No hardcore gamers should worry, there are regular controls for all of the consoles. And if they aren’t ready even to try a motioncontroller, then they’re just reactionary.

The future is here, and it’s Nintendo showing it for us, as usual.

This argument that seems to be happening right now would not be happening if there were no fan boys, and honestly, I’ve never met a person I hate more then a Nintendo fanboy. Nintendo is cool and all but the only good games that have come out for the Wii, Gamecube and N64 were first party games. Granted, there were a select few decent third party games, but you all know, even the fan boys know, people hate making third party games for Nintendo because half of Nintendos fans are so ~%~#@@% stuck up their own asses that they’ll only play linear Zelda or Mario games. Learn how to play real games and jump of everyones dicks you ~%~#@@% fanboy bitches.

“Lol”, what the he-l has World of Warcraft to do with anything!?

“Well I have both the Wii and the 360. But they are both obsolete now because, guess what, I have World of Warcraft!”

I hope you’re kidding, because what you say is retarded!
Obsolete? Because of WoW? WoW are boring! I’m not saying the social stuff can’t be fun, I’m not saying I haven’t played Gauntlet (’cause that’s what WoW is, in bigger scale, and neverending, wohoo), I’m saying there’s no fun gameplay. It’s not fun running (or flying) across the whole world for hours. Doing nothing. You can actually just click a place and your character runs there. And the fights are lame. There’s not necessarily any physical contact between you and that giant cow your hitting, but it takes damage when you wave your sword! Talk about intriguing loss of feeling.
Sure, there’s magic and stuff and strategy to kill big bosses, but overall, the fighting system is lame. It’s not interesting and involving gameplay.
I know, you can like your lame game for all I care, what sucks is that you dare mention it in that way in here. I don’t go out on WoW lovers threads and barf at them there saying: “Haha, you’re so lame! Mario is much more a game than any f-cking WoW!”

    Läskipaska, you suck too!

“FU, all, nobody has won nothing, this is a %*#~$*~ fake. And wii is *$#@ so is ps3 and x360. I own pc x360 and ps2, i consider 1.pc 2.xbox360 3. ps2. PC pwns all that *$#@, remember u get fre games for it, legal and not legal ways.”

Wii is not sh!t as I guess you wrote, neither is PS3 and the 360. Or PC.
    But you are!
Wii is the peak of entertainment and innovative games, while PC keep running in circles with fps. Sure, there are nice freeware games to download, those are not WW2 fps wannabees.
And what the fu-k is fre games? Your spelling sucks. I hate “pwns”, it’s a word f-cking wrongspelled that got popular just like OMG, WTF and so on.
Remember we can be illegal on the computer? Yeah! Let’s! Why do the companies have to make money? Why should I pay anything?
Yeah, why not rob some old ladys on their pension! And kill that guy I don’t like! Yes!
Why don’t I hunt you down and rob you? Why do you need money, you can copy your PC games.
Yeah. We all have copied games for our PC. Granted. But using it as a reaon for choosing platform is lame.
    You’re a moron.

This is f—ing redicoulous, the comments are f—ing stupid.Someone told me MTV’s audience is f—ng stupid, I hadnt belived it until now. You mean Microsoft? Came in to this industry in 2001? Would have died if not for Halo? I find it funny that everyone last gen just loved Sony, but since Sony came a year later everyone got a 360? ~@?%*$~? 360 is a f—ing fad it only made what it did because the other 2 made it out late. Microsoft did nothing for gaming, they stole the design of the Dreamcast Controller 2 consoles in a row, and now they are feeling the heat. Their failing in Japan and they turned Rare into *%#*, To Japan Microsoft thought they could shine a turd and win Japan? Japanese people can f—ing READ! They see Microsoft and see American. Whats on 360? FPS 900000! Wow, how original stupid f—ing blind 360 fanboys, get real PS3 shits on your system. And is a hardcore system but here we have “Ohh 360 fans will love a Wii controller’ Buy a damn Wii. Blind fanboys Wii has no good games? Zack and Wiki got universal Praise, No More Heroes Got universal praise a 9.0 on Gamespot and more, Super Mario Galaxy got nothing lower than a 9.0 from most sites, second ranked game of Game ratings and GOTY on most major sites, and Wii has no good games right? How about Microsoft running the selves out? Just like they did last gen, PS2 is still going 360 is losing it’s appeal and now the PS3 is picking up and has reached 10Mill+ faster than 360 has done, face it people wer waiting for PS3 and the sales are going up, it’s selling like *%#* in japan and is well on it’s way to selling like *%#* here and in “Sony World Europe too” You guys really didnt think you would win? Right?… Seriously PS2 did what? 100 Mil + and still going did you really think that would fall? Most analyst have PS3 coming in 1st, Wii is 2nd and 360 taking 3rd, You can polish a turd, HD DVD has lost, and the spaced out killers nothing to be proud of whats your next killer? Gears 2? Make me laugh with that shitty over rated crap who plays the first gears anymore? And With MGS4 coming, FF13 in a year, GTA4 no doubt do better on PS3 and move some at at that, wtf you gonna do 360 fanboys? Face it Wii and PS3 would have made it no where if 360’s base was so real and installed and not the people waiting for PS3 and Wii. Wii has beat it in sales and PS3 is on ot’s way, That controller wont do *%#*, dont make me laugh.

Before all you douches say that this is a good idea, consider this: they’ve already made halo3 and bioshock, they wont be able to go to every friggen house and make the tech compadable with your 360, and i’m sure you all know as well as i do that this wont work for you microsoft fags. and one more thing. if this remote does come out, you wont be able to use it for your xbox cause its supid and gay. think about it for three f—ing seconds!
