The third-person adventure Dark Sector has to be one of the prettiest games I've seen in a long, long while. You play as Hayden Tenno, a superhero of sorts and a man who's been infected with something that's causing a metal-like substance across his body. As Tenno, you'll have access to a throwing glave that can be used to eviscerate foes, absorb electricity or fire, and then hurled for devastating effect.
The game is more than a year out, which is good because Dark Sector, despite its beauty, didn't feature very smooth animations for the game's protagonist. It would be a shame if this wasn't addressed by its developer Digital Extremes.
