The kind people at D3Publisher showed off Earth Defense Forces 3 at a recent event in San Francisco's financial district. Bless their hearts, too, because they didn't even kick me out into the street when I asked if you could befriend the giant ants in the game. Nor did they forbid me from ever playing another one of their games when I asked, in what seemed to be a sensible follow-up question, if you could just submit to your new, giant ant overlords and call it a day.
