Will Wright is a genius. He's the guy behind the The Sims, and now the ultimate sandbox-type creation game Spore. And while he clearly loves making games, he definitely is not into the fame that comes with it. At least today.
Word has it that Wright participated in a dance-off late last night at the Sony party, so maybe that explains his skulking behavior today. He's been in the Spore demo room, but didn't actually do the demo I saw today. Both times I've seen him today, he's rushed past the crowd, eyes cast downward--obviously actively avoiding fanboys (and girls) standing outside the Spore theater with poised cameras.
