Hey there! I'm getting ready for E3--I'm leaving for L.A. in just 4 days! The months leading up to the show are always frantic, and I haven't really had time to even think about the trip until...basically now.
Background: My first E3 was 10 years ago. I was working for a small, independent magazine called MacHome Journal (now MacHome Magazine) as a copyeditor, and right before E3, the game editor left for the greener pastures of Ziff Davis Media.
MacHome had already bought his plane ticket and hotel room, so I asked if I could go in his place. E3 was everything I hoped it would be--a blast! I think it was more fun that year than I've ever had since, because essentially I had no responsibilities there at all...
Anyway, I then took over the game section at MacHome, and have been working in the videogame industry ever since.
